Dunder Mifflin, the fictional paper company at the center of NBC's prime-time comedy "The Office," is facing bankruptcy.
Staffers in the Scranton branch are anxious about their fate.
"The Office" is among a great many prime-time shows that have integrated recession-era themes into their plotlines this fall in an effort to reflect the changing American economic climate.

Menlo Park's City Council directed the city to enter into negotiations on the "Menlo Gateway" office/hotel project proposed by the Bohannon Development Co. at its meeting Tuesday, Nov. 17, setting the stage for a final vote on the project in spring 2010.
The council could have asked the developer to scale back the size of the buildings and parking garages on the site near Marsh Road and Bayfront Expressway before beginning negotiations.

Whittling 10 years of albums down to a measly five was a brutal task and I could have easily picked another 30 (and I, in fact did, sorry Country Teasers, Nina Nastasia, Jandek, Signal To Trust, Jemeel Moondoc, A Frames, etc., etc.).
